Roles are modelled loosely from job descriptions and defines a set of skills and responsibilities a person should know. Roles are divided into 3 levels as follows:
Level | Quality | Description |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | Basic | Internship, Fresh Grad, or Junior Level Candidate |
Level 2 | Advanced | Senior Level Candidate |
Level 3 | Rare | Outstanding Senior Level Candidate |
The majority (90%) of people fall into level 2, which means they exhibit the qualifications to perform in a typical job setting for their role.
Level 3 candidates have showcased rare or unique skills that make them stand out in their field. They may have won or placed highly in competitive coding challenges, earned a Ph.D in a technical subject at a prestigious university, authored a book or a well known open source library, or more.
